1. General information
This subject acquires great relevance insofar as the lifelong teaching-learning process is the basic frame of reference. Emphasis is placed on the need to develop communication skills.
This training cannot remain on the margins of social reality. In this framework, educational institutions are catalysts that must foster a new generation of active citizens, professionals with reflective capacity and a critical conscience that will lead them to develop actions that contribute to sustainable development, a fairer and more equitable future.
Students are encouraged, through an active methodology, to develop knowledge, values, skills and attitudes that empower individuals as agents of change (SDG 4 Quality Education).
2. Learning results
To analyse the different variables involved in didactic interaction situations.
To design and assess research proposals on educational practices and classroom interaction
To analyse research on didactic interaction to assess its contributions and limitations.
3. Syllabus
Research models in didactic interaction.
The challenges of interaction and communicative competence in socio-educational contexts.
Didactic communication. Personal and interpersonal communication. Transversal competencies of communication in the academic and professional environment.
Verbal and non-verbal communication. Analog and digital communication. Oral and written communication. Communication dimensions and competencies.
Comprehension and expression. Communication skills.
Conflict prevention and interaction improvement in socio-educational and family contexts.
4. Academic activities
Both theoretical and practical activities will be aimed at providing knowledge on the state of the art of research issues. It will be essential to consult databases and documentary sources to learn about the progress of research in this field, as well as about the various epistemological currents of study of the issues raised.
A theoretical review of a topic will be prepared.
A brief report will be written on the basis of the readings and considering the contributions made in the discussions held in class.
The faculty will agree with the students the authorization of the different works proposed, which are intended to be related to the master´s final project (MFP).
5. Assessment system
The assessment is based on the following:

The following aspects will be taken into account for the content assessment.

Knowledge review: appropriate descriptors, Comprehensive search, diversification of search resources: books, articles and telematic resources (both for secondary, as well as primary references). Personal and well-structured summarised discourse.

Research questions and purposes: clear formulation. Good derivation of knowledge review. Originality and feasibility

Methodological design: purpose, paradigm, strategies and instruments well justified and coherent with the purpose of the work. Timing and budgets (realistic and tight). d) Bibliographic support: relevant and sufficient.

Questionnaires/survey (if applicable): good wording and structuring. Correct wording. Adequacy to the research objective and model. Understandable and motivating for those who have to answer it. Validated by a system of judges.

Public defence.
Note: The following orthotypographic aspects will be valued: presentation, spelling and punctuation, clear and grammatically correct writing. Citations, references and bibliography according to orthotypographic standards. Scientific and professional terminology.
The overall written test will consist, where appropriate, of several essay and objective questions.
